Meet the Ventura Team Behind Alden Insulation Ventura
We’re a crew that spends most of our working hours in attics, crawl spaces, and the tight spots most people never see. That’s fine by us. What unites the Alden Insulation Ventura team is a shared dislike of shortcuts. Every technician, installer, and the person who answers your call lives in this area, knows how the coastal fog and inland heat affect homes here, and follows The Garrison Code without exception. Bryce Holloway, the owner, put this team together with one rule: hire people who’d do the job right even if nobody was watching. That’s the whole hiring philosophy, and it shows up in every attic we touch.
Our People
Mike R., Lead Technician
Mike has been installing insulation in Ventura County homes for 16 years, the last 7 with us. He holds a BPI Building Analyst certification and specializes in diagnosing uneven attic coverage, the kind where one bedroom roasts in the afternoon and the next one feels like a cave. Mike’s the guy who’ll climb into a 130 degree attic off Market Street in July, come back out soaked, and tell you exactly what your R-value looks like without any sugar-coating. He’s known around the shop for keeping a running mental map of every neighborhood he’s worked in, from College Area bungalows to the newer builds near Saticoy.
Luis G., Senior Installer
Luis has been with the Garrison Partners family since 2012, starting at another location before coming to Ventura four years ago. He’s our blown-in insulation specialist and can run a cellulose or fiberglass job with the kind of precision that makes the finished attic look uniform from joist to joist. Luis trains every new installer on the equipment, and he’s the reason our coverage levels come out even across the entire attic floor. When he’s not on a ladder, he’s rebuilding a 1972 Chevy truck in his garage. He says it takes patience. The attics don’t bother him.
Dana T., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone, and she’s been handling scheduling and estimates for Ventura homeowners since 2019. She knows the difference between a quick blow-in job in a 1,200 square foot Montalvo ranch and a full removal in a two-story hillside home, and she’ll ask the right questions before we ever send a truck. Dana writes every estimate using the exact numbers our techs give her, so the written price you approve is the one that holds. She keeps a clipboard of every job, every note, and every promise made, which is why nothing slips through the cracks between the first call and the final walkthrough.
Chris B., Apprentice Installer
Chris joined us two years ago as an apprentice and has worked his way into running his own jobs under Mike and Luis’s supervision. He grew up in Oxnard and knows how different the insulation needs are between a beach-adjacent cottage and a home up in the foothills, where the temperature swings harder. Chris is working toward his own BPI certification and spends his off-hours studying building science, not because anyone told him to, but because he wants to understand why certain materials fail in certain climates. He’s also the one who remembers every customer’s name from a job two years ago.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Alden location is independently owned and operated, but not a single job leaves this shop without meeting The Garrison Standard. That’s the name we put on the way we work: written pricing before anything starts, background-checked technicians in uniform at every visit, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise on every job we complete. For our Ventura crew, that means Bryce Holloway personally checks the paperwork and the finished work before we call a project done. We’re held to the same standard as every Garrison Partners location across the country, because the name on the truck doesn’t mean much unless the work behind it holds up. In our case, it’s written down, signed, and guaranteed for a full year.
The Team You Can Actually Ask Questions For
One thing we hear from homeowners is that they want to know who’s coming into their house. Fair enough. When you book with Alden Insulation Ventura, you get a name and a face, uniformed and background-checked, arriving inside the scheduled window. Mike, Luis, Chris, and Dana all answer to the same person: Bryce Holloway, the owner, who has been part of the Garrison Partners family since 2002. That’s not a corporate talking point. It means if something isn’t right, the person you call is the person who can fix it, and the guarantee in writing gives you a full year of backup on top of that.
Whether you’re looking at attic insulation, blown-in insulation, or a full removal in Ventura, the team that shows up is the team that built its reputation one attic at a time. Call (341) 895-7513 and ask Dana anything about your project. You’ll get straight answers from someone who actually knows this work.
